Activism Gear was founded by two Black sisters who actively protest the inequities and unjust institutions within their city and who would later form a grassroots organization to make those changes they wanted to see.

Activism Gear was designed to address the safety needs of protesters during Covid-19 and amplify the voices and messages of activists being change agents within their community.
